Hi, I'm Dee!

And I LOVE what I do!!

I started out studying Psych and left that to pursue beauty pageants of all things! It started out as a funny journey but pushed me into the beauty world & health and fitness world. I then studied the body as a Personal Trainer and in turn took my studies further by studying my biggest love (heading back to Uni for a 3rd time)... Nutrition. 

I'm the Nutritionist approving all the meals and educational resources across the entire cooking project for you all, so everything has been fact-checked by yours truly. You'll see I've made notes for each recipe - so that you can adhere to your preferred dietary category (e.g. low FODMAP) but avoid missing out on these amazing recipes!!

I've dedicated my life to making people feel and look their best with my main tool being Nutrition. I now understand what people mean when they say "I've found my life's purpose." I just truly want people to live their best life on their terms - whatever that looks like for them!

I focus on bridging the gap between Nutrition and Exercise e.g. What hormonal, cellular influences does one have on the other? How do different styles of eating influence different types of training?

People refer to me as a biohacker, but I just prefer to work smarter rather than harder... Can I get an AMEN?

Core Health Beliefs: 

1. Being healthy shouldn't feel hard, but it can be very confusing - depending on who you get your advice from.

2. Consistent small changes amount to enormous positive changes.

3. Health begins in your cells and extends to your soul, becoming your 'energy.'

4. Healthy people tend to actively create their lives instead of merely participate in them - this is why mindset is my 3rd pillar of health (the other 2 being food and movement). 

5. Choosing nourishing foods, moving your body and minding your thoughts, is your life insurance.
